๐ŸŽฏ Introducing FarmCash Jobs: A Community-Driven Wiki for Every Offer

FarmCash Jobs Wiki mobile app screenshots showing community ratings for gaming offers, with star ratings for Ad Aggressiveness, Task Difficulty, and Payment Speed

FarmCash Jobs is live.

From a user perspective, FarmCash Jobs is a community-driven wiki for every offer available inside the FarmCash app. Instead of blindly starting a job and discovering it's riddled with ads or impossible to complete, users can look it up first โ€” read real community reviews, see how other players rated it across four dimensions, and make an informed decision before they invest their time.

๐Ÿ“Š Four Rating Dimensions

  • Overall Rating - A weighted average of your ratings.
  • Ad Aggression - How brutal and frequent are the ads you will face?
  • Task Difficulty - How hard are they to complete?
  • Payment Speed - How fast does it credit?

Every offer gets its own permanent page with a description, screenshots, payout information in Seeds, and a comment thread. Jobs never get deleted โ€” even if an offer disappears from FarmCash or gets flagged, the page and its community knowledge stay live so the history isn't lost. Only blacklisted offers are permanently removed from public display.

A curated Top Pick and Featured section on the homepage surfaces the best opportunities at a glance, all driven by human ratings.

๐Ÿค” Why We Built This

The core reason behind this is to allow us to get real data on which jobs are the best from a user experience perspective and serve them more prominently, and to warn users about ad aggressive jobs or long payout delays that create confusion.

Think about it: in most rewards apps, you're flying blind. You click an offer, spend 30 minutes (or hours) on it, and maybe it credits. Maybe it doesn't. Maybe it's so ad-heavy you quit halfway through. There's no way to know beforehand.

FarmCash Jobs changes that.

And we are making this information available to everyone, FarmCash users or not.

Now you can:

  • Read reviews from real players who've completed the job
  • See ratings across all three dimensions before you start
  • Check screenshots to to see if the app looks interesting to you
  • Learn from others' tips and strategies
  • Avoid jobs that are known time-wasters

โš™๏ธ How It Works (Technical Deep Dive)

From a technical perspective, the FarmCash Jobs wiki is a Next.js 29 application (App Router, React 19) deployed on Vercel and served transparently through a Cloudflare Worker proxy โ€” users see farmcash.app/jobs without ever knowing there's a separate app behind it.

It shares a live Supabase backend with the mobile app, meaning web users and app users are the same authenticated people with the same session.

๐Ÿ”„ Automated Job Sync

Job data flows in automatically via a Supabase Edge Function (Deno runtime) that hits the AyeT partner API every six hours, upserts up to 1,000+ offers, and fires on-demand ISR revalidation so updated pages go live in seconds without a rebuild.

The caching layer uses Next.js 29's use cache + cacheLife directives โ€” job pages are statically served at the CDN edge but can be surgically busted per-slug the moment data changes.

๐Ÿค– AI-Powered Enrichment

The enrichment pipeline is where it gets interesting. A Node.js pipeline crawls the Google Play Store for each app, feeds the reviews and metadata into the Claude API, and generates a structured analysis โ€” human-readable descriptions, gameplay tips, and seeded bot ratings and comments that give new jobs a baseline of useful content before any human has reviewed them. One a verified human reviews an app, the AI review becomes fallback and is not considered in the average going forward.

All AI-generated content is flagged is_bot = true and never presented as human opinion.

The result is that even a brand-new offer arrives with context rather than a blank page.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Moderation Tools

On the moderation side, a full admin panel lets the team:

  • Approve or reject community comments
  • Manage which jobs appear in the Featured and Top Pick slots (with live drag-free reordering)
  • Change job lifecycle status (active, blacklisted, seasonal, partner removed, under review) with instant cache busting
  • Monitor enrichment coverage โ€” all without touching SQL

๐Ÿš€ The Build

The whole system went from a blank Next.js scaffold to a fully enriched, ISR-cached, admin-moderated wiki with 1,000+ live job pages in a single focused build sprint.

I took a week off from alpha feedback to build this because I knew it was critical. Without community-driven data on job quality, we're just another rewards app guessing at what works. With it, we can actually optimize for user experience โ€” not just advertiser payouts.

๐Ÿ”ฎ What's Coming Next

Roadmap Features

  • Deep links into the FarmCash app - Click any job on the web and it opens directly in your mobile app
  • Guides system - Allow users to post detailed guides on the best way to complete tasks in an app
  • Favorites - Favorite jobs in the web app and see them in your mobile app favorites to help you plan your weekly jobs path
  • Rating rewards - Seed & XP rewards for rating jobs (contribute = earn & level up)
  • Better task breakdown with rewards - More granular info on what tasks/steps are and what they pay
  • UI & Branding pass - Polish the visual design to match FarmCash brand
  • Achievements & Badges system - Gamify contributions (top reviewer, helpful comments, etc.)

๐ŸŽฏ Why This Matters

Most rewards apps treat offers as disposable. An offer appears, someone completes it (or doesn't), and it disappears. No history. No community knowledge. No accountability.

FarmCash Jobs makes offers permanent.

Every job page is a living document that gets better over time as more people contribute. Bad jobs get exposed. Good jobs get highlighted. And everyone โ€” advertisers, players, and partners โ€” benefits from the transparency.

But transparency alone isn't enough.

Building Different from Day One

When I started building FarmCash, I realized there are some less-desirable patterns in the rewards industry that hurt user experience โ€” and ultimately hurt the category's reputation.

We covered some of this in our analysis of the FreeCash situation, but it goes beyond fraud. Two problems stood out:

  1. Payment delays - Some apps pay instantly. Others take 24 hours. Some take weeks. This makes the reward chain confusing, especially for new users who don't know what to expect.
  2. Ad aggressiveness - Some rewards apps monetize so hard through ads that the games become unplayable. You spend more time watching ads than actually playing.

FarmCash is attracting a NEW audience to rewarded apps. These aren't seasoned r/beermoney grinders who know the drill. They're casual mobile gamers discovering rewards for the first time.

That means we need the best user experience possible:

  • โœ… Jobs that pay immediately - No waiting, no confusion about when you'll get credited
  • โœ… No abusive ads - Games should be playable, not ad marathons disguised as gameplay

The Jobs Wiki is part of this commitment. We're not just being transparent about offer quality โ€” we're only promoting advertisers who meet our standards in the first place.

This is how you build trust in an industry that's earned a reputation for the opposite.
